Achaion Gi is more than just an olive oil; it is a delicious expression of history, culture and respect for the land that nourishes us. Based in Agios Epiphanios, Kavos Greco, and inspired by Dr. Kyzas, Achaion Gi creates products that pay homage to the roots of Hellenism and the natural beauty of the place.
The Collaboration
Our collaboration with Achaion Gi aimed to capture the brand’s history and philosophy through an iconic logo and olive oil label. The logo was designed with an emphasis on connecting the past with the present.
The symbol incorporates an olive tree, the letter “A” and the sails of a ship, in a unique design that reflects the history of Tefkros and the first Greek settlement in Cyprus. The harmonious composition of the logo is ideally connected to the narrative on the back of the label, creating a single, authentic identity.
On the front, the label emphasizes the quality and natural origin of the product with the inscription “Extra Virgin Organic Olive Oil”, accompanied by Elytis’s emblematic phrase:
“If you decompose Greece, all you are left with is an olive tree, a vineyard and a ship.”
On the back, the narrative of the story of Tefkros and the founding of Salamis, Cyprus, highlights the deep historical connection of the region and the product with Greek tradition.
The result is a highly aesthetic label that highlights the quality of the product and the uniqueness of its history. The patterns, color shades and design details create a product that is not just an olive oil, but an experience that takes the consumer back in time, while at the same time connecting with the present.
