The Collaboration

The logo is inspired by the metope, an architectural element that evokes strength and balance, and is represented through a geometrically symmetrical symbol where the letter M gains structural presence, resembling a metal frame or architectural section. Its form is solid yet refined, capturing the interplay between precision and creativity.

The choice of lowercase lettering for metopi gives the brand a more European, approachable character, while the color palette featuring the tones Skull and Willow Grove creates a calm contrast, balance, and timelessness. The business card follows the same clean philosophy, with a symmetrical layout and a strong presence of the logo as the central element of recognition.

For the brand’s communication, a minimal poster was also designed featuring the main message “We shape buildings. They shape experiences.”, expressing the essence of architectural practice and its relationship with human experience. The composition remains strict and elegant, emphasizing the power of typography and negative space.

The result is a complete identity that expresses the philosophy of Metopi Architecture Studio: clarity, structure, and authenticity in architectural expression.
