Hotel Brand Identity Design

The Guestbook Paris is a boutique hotel concept inspired by the idea that every stay leaves behind a small trace.
Like an old guestbook filled with signatures, notes and stories, the hotel is approached as a living space of memory and presence.

The visual identity was designed to move away from the classic and “typical” aesthetic of luxury hotels, creating a more personal and narrative-driven experience. The brand is not based only on luxury, but mainly on the feeling of staying somewhere meaningful, the attention to detail and the sense that every guest becomes part of a story.

A central element of the identity is the logo and the “GB” monogram, which works as a subtle signature repeated across every brand application. The use of serif typography adds an editorial and timeless aesthetic, while the curves and fine lines enhance the elegant character of the concept.

The color palette moves through soft and calm tones such as powder blue, cream and soft peach, combined with deeper dark elements for contrast and balance. The result creates an atmosphere that feels calm, bright and refined, inspired by Parisian boutique hotels, natural morning light and cinematic interiors.

The identity was applied across a complete system of print and digital applications. Welcome cards, menus, keycards, stationery, packaging, signage, social media assets and responsive website layouts were designed to ensure that every touchpoint maintains the same feeling of consistency and atmosphere.

Special attention was given to the art direction of the mockups and the overall presentation, allowing the brand to feel like a real hospitality experience rather than simply a visual exercise. The imagery, textures and spaces work together to build a world around the brand, where aesthetics become part of the guest experience.

The result is a contemporary and emotional hospitality identity that combines minimal design, editorial aesthetics and understated luxury, creating a brand experience that feels personal, calm and memorable.
